Latoya Nicole created Entrepreneurs Color Too in 2018 out of a frustrating moment at work. "It was a really busy season at work and we were all overwhelmed with the workload. Some of the managers wanted to make things better for employees so they provided 'stress relieving' things like free coffee, massages, and they also brought each of them coloring books to help 'take the load off.' To be honest, when I first saw the coloring book I was thinking, 'What am I going to do with this?' I hadn’t used a coloring book since I was a child. But one day I was frustrated to the max and I jokingly said to the guy beside me 'pass me one of those colored pencils!' Once I started coloring, I noticed that I started feeling calmer so I searched for more coloring books that I could relate but found none. Purpose found its way into my life work when I decided to fill the diversity gap and turn one of my favorite ways to de-stress into a form of relief for others.
We provide a variety of unique, handmade gifts made by women, for all ages from infants to adults. Many of our products support charities and non-profits, with portions of proceeds going toward organizations and charities for marginalized voices and women advocacy groups.

store owner
The store is named Priscilla’s after Priscilla Murphy, the first realtor on Sanibel Island. She traveled here from Michigan in the 1940s and opened up the first real estate office on the island in the early 1950s.
My name is Maari and I live in Sanibel with my husband, Chas, and our two young children. We relocated here from Minnesota during the 2020 COVID pandemic. After visiting here for my whole life, we decided to take a leap of faith and start a new adventure on the island of Sanibel. With a background in advertising/marketing, journalism and interior design and charity work in women advocacy groups, I feel that I have found my calling by opening Priscilla's of Sanibel. I am an old soul, inspired by the many women before us, and with us, who have worked so hard so that we can all enjoy this beautiful place on Earth. I am honored and humbled to be part of this wonderful community and I look forward to meeting you soon and hearing your own story.
